Big Miner is their name of their famous burgers. Giant burger, large portions when you order fries and salads. Eat and enjoy.
Yes absolutely. Awesome salads also.
Call the restaurant and ask them. Pretty certain their number is easy to find.
Good plan, especially during busy times!
That would be nice if they did but nope, not at this time.
Yeah, they still have it too!
Yes
You can have chicken added to salad *strips or grilled.
Amazing burgers, service, and location! If you don't like sandwhich spread (read Miracle Whip), ask for no mayo on your burger! A tip I will remember for next time :)Also, it tastes like the ranch is made with it as well. :)
I am not from here and so this was my first time eating here. HUGE burgers and a LOT of fries!! I love that they have all the sauces out in the dining area so you can get your own. They also have a BBQ ranch sauce that is pretty good. the burgers are very good. The pickles are crisp, tomatoes are ripe, onions are perfect... It all makes for a great burger!! They keep it clean and it's a nice atmosphere to eat in. Doesn't feel like a "normal" fast food place, feels more comfortable to me.
Good tasting hamburger. I got the miner. It was so huge that I will probably get two meals out of it.
Honestly the best grilled cheese sandwich around. I've loved them since I was little and they're still just as good now as they were then! Every time I come visit home, I have to stop by and get one! My family loves the burgers and the fries and milkshakes are delicious too!
Sent my fiance for food. he ordered, they asked him to wait outside til his number was called, 40 minutes go by, People who came after him were leaving with food, So he goes inside to see what's going on. They didnt even know what he ordered, saying they didnt have it. Say they must have given it to someone else, he asks for a refund and they say they dont give refunds, (even though it was they're fault) probably wont be going there again! Food is good, customer service not so much. Seems like they have TONS of rude employees working there.
If you want the best hamburgers in Yakima I advise you to go to Miner's . I drove from Portland, Oregon to Yakima, Washington to try this legendary hamburger. I spoke with David Miner who is the grandson and current owner of this fine establishment about my journey. He personally went back to the grill and made me the "Big Miner Burger " with a side of their onion rings. It was one of the best hamburgers I've had in quite some time. Please make the stop to Miner's. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Ask for David Miner if he's available to talk he'll give you the complete history on the drive in which is actually really interesting.
I love their cheeseburgers, milkshakes, chicken basket, curly fries and nachos. I love always get a one of these when I go on team dinners.
Saw a long line and thought it must be good. An it was, but it’s pricey though. Big portions and really good burgers.
Great food but sat in the parking lot waiting for at least 30mins I watched 3 people who ordered after me get there food. My order wasn't complicated, 2 burgers and chilli fries, not sure what happened.
Always delicious but the forgot two items outta 3 orders
It was a wonderful place to be. I do ask that hairnets are worn. But I still give five stars. Excellent place to be.
I have been coming here for years and they always have the best hamburgers. But today everything was too salty I don’t know it’s that’s because the have new ppl working or something never had this experience before.
The food is expensive, but worth it. The generous portion sizes help to make up for the high price as well; one burger could easily feed 2 people
AMAZING customer service! Food is awesome. I would come back here just to have this customer experience again.
Love there food but they always seem to be in a hurry for us to order
I have been in love with Miner burgers since the 1970's. I live in the Seattle area, so I have to make a road trip to Yakima for burger satisfaction. ALWAYS WORTH IT!!!
Always on top of getting orders out quickly even if they are busy.
Cool spot in Yakima with a shady little outdoor area with picnic tables to accommodate social distancing and takeout only rules of Phase 2.2.Service was super fast and they were BUSY the night we were there. My kids ordered lettuce wrapped burgers and curly fries. I ordered the Chef salad with chicken. My only issue was the chicken was breaded. I'm pretty sure that's my fault because I didn't look super closely at the picture they have of the salad on the wall.
Greatly disappointed. First time here, passing thru Yakima. Read that the food was good and servings large. Ordered the lettuce wrapped burger ( a menu item), waiter didn't know what it was. Burger was thin and well done (shoe leather). Asked for root beer, no ice. It came with ice (yes, they replaced it). Fries were tepid and spongy, as if they'd been cooked a while ago and sat under a heat light.
I'd give it 5 stars but the burger get pretty soggy..maybe toast them a bit??
Just passing through and wanted to stop for some good fast food... this is it! Line was super long, but the service was super fast and the staff were very positive! I got the club sandwich and milkshake and it was great! Attached the menu since there isn’t one on here.
The Burgers are gigantic! I didn't expect the burgers to be that good because of the size but they were pretty good! Fries were good and so where the shakes. They had so many flavors to choose from. Service is pretty fast as well.
Best burgers in the area. Definitely worth the wait.
Miner's is the best place to get a fresh tasty burger. In n out has a similar style of classic burger. And 1 burger is so big I normally eat it in two sittings or share with my wife. Inside they have some neat Native American heritage.
Lady was nice, food was delicious, gained 7lbs before i left 🤣
Service here just keep going down, burgers are not even close to even good, McDonald’s even have better burgers, shame to say, 03/10/2020I ordered veggie burger, there are two options, the fresh vegetable one or the patty, I specifically ordered the “veggie patty” and they gave me the fresh vegetable burger. I didn’t even ordered a lot i don’t understand why the person forgot what I ordered.( by the way, that person is very sloppy, lazy, etc. at work, it’s an ordinary burger place, you don’t expect top service, but you are working, so be on top of your game Mr!) you are getting paid!I have to drive back 30 minutes just to get the RIGHT FOOD I ORDERED!!Not the first mistake I got when visiting this place.Home of the big miner? Very ordinary to the taste, nothing special, I don’t recommend, but if you don’t care about quality of food and service go ahead and enjoy,The banana splits are good though, and I love it. points to that.
Love this place! Miner’s is a family run establishment and fixture in the Yakima Valley. We call them family. They have a rich history with the Yakama Nation people offering glimpses of history that no other eatery offers. Be prepared for great food - the size is shareable. However, I have been known to eat the entire burger when I treat myself when visiting the Valley. We also love the shrimp salad!
Miner's is a tradition. One simply does not drive past Yakima without stopping by. That said, the burgers are never quite as good as I build them up in my head, and it's pretty expensive. Fries (and fry sauce) are good, and the shakes are fantastic. Nothing like finding actual peanut butter globs in your PB/hot fudge shake!
First time getting food here. Was blown away with how good and how large the burgers were.I highly recommend this spot. Service was even better than the food.
I drove all the way from Portland to re-live a great burger experience from 10 years ago. I can say it was almost exactly as I remembered.Big portions for sure. A regular fry was enough for three people. The Big Miner, as big and as tasty as I remember. It's a good spot. It's kind of like the Cheers of Yakima. I saw lots of patrons who knew each other's names. If you're in the area, it's worth a try, and better than any of the chain places around it to be sure.
Did not know what to expect! Hamburgers and fries (small order) are twice the size of their competition, but the flavor is only a little above average. I would have been happier if I had shared. The fry sauce tastes more like plain mayo than having a touch of spicy flavor. Super busy, but staff didn't make an attempt to clean tables before the next guests sat down. Watch out - team buses stop for a meal, too.
I love those milkshakes so much. Great burgers all the time. The drive-thru is so efficient during busy hours, I think that we were there for about 5 minutes
It's okay, not outstanding food, but the burgers are big and that's why my friend likes to go there. It cost $28.07 for 2 people to get 1 burger, 1 fry and 2 milkshakes! Little expensive and takes a long time to get your food but he loves it.
We'll make a special trip every so often. It's worth the hour and a half drive to eat here. Love it!
First off, strange drive through. You order from the left which could be tricky for many reasons, thankfully there was two of us, so not too much trouble.Big menu, lots of different sandwiches and burgers. A little pricey, all things considered for “fast food” $7 for. Burger no fries. But really, worth the money. I have a BIG appetite and was sated by the miner burger.
They serve a very big burger I believe about 6in in diameter I ordered fries thay are equal to at least 3 from McDonald's the prices are not cheap but I believe you get what you paid for
Love miner’s! They are doing a good job dealing with covid. Indoor seating unavailable. Picnic tables outside or take-away. Burgers are huge! Onion rings and tater tots are great. Their chix basket is good as well. Fries are decent but good for onion rings or the tots.
Miner's has the best burgers and great fry sauce. I highly recommend the big miner! The thin burger pattie has a great sear.
Always great food and LARGE portions, hence the price. All items I have ordered are delicious. I do share the sides with others because it's too much food for one person. It's quite busy, so it does take a little bit to get your food.
Very tasty burgers! Though the dining area was closed due to the outbreak, they spread out picnic tables on the lawn. Overall, a great experience!
Good service. Big portions. Great taste. The burger is good. I loved the fries and onion rings more. They were so crispy and flavorful.
Very good. Just as good as i rememeber from years ago. Service was great
Very slow service. We waited over 40 minutes for a shrimp burger. Had to remind them we were there. Good burger but was cold. Would still be at miners if hadn't reminded them about our order.
Wow were they busy today with the opening of patio dining but the service was very friendly and it didn't take all that long and it was worth it,food was beyond just good it was fantastic
Great, I mean fantastic burgers, great friendly service worth the wait for amazing food
My kids love this place as well as my wife and I , fries and dips are great , a diverse menu and a icon burger place in Yakima ,a must stop for travelers to drop off the inerstate at meal time ,we sometimes do road trips from Seattle with Minors our main reason and turn around spot
The food is good but not worth the hour and 15 minute wait in the drive thru
We ordered 2 buffalo subs, a banana split and onion rings. Came out to about 40$.The ice cream was good but it’s hard to mess that up. The sandwiches weren’t bad but they weren’t really good either. They put blue cheese on our sandwich which caught us off guard and was out fault for not asking, wasn’t a fan of it. The sandwich without the blue cheese is still average. The onion rings also pretty basic, comparable to Burger King onion rings but these cost more. So not too bad overall but I don’t think I’d come back. Except maybe for ice cream.
This is a good historic burger joint that you must experience at least once. The burgers are huge and the servings of fries is huge. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, but they only carry Pepsi products. I didn't know people still drank Pepsi, maybe I'm just too particular to Coke...
Out of This World! I've been eating the Big Miner's meal since I was a young girl. This is my all time Favorite burger! If you don't like burgers. They have a huge Excellent menu of other choices too
